Job summary

EssilorLuxottica Group is seeking a Robotics Programming for Quality Testing Intern to support the development, programming, and implementation of robotic systems for quality testing across eyewear, packaging and wearable devices.

You will work with the Quality Performance Laboratory and Automation teams, gaining hands-on experience in robotics programming, experimental testing, data analysis and development of automated testing solutions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a technical degree in robotics, automation, mechatronics, computer or electronics engineering.
• Strong knowledge of C and C++ with interest in robotic systems.
• Understanding of robotic programming, algorithms, and control systems.
• Familiarity with experimental design and testing procedures.
• Ability to interpret technical data and troubleshoot issues.
• Experience with data analysis and documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure robotic systems for quality testing across eyewear, packaging, and wearables.
• Program robots using C/C++ for precise testing procedures.
• Develop and optimize robotic algorithms and testing sequences.
• Troubleshoot to ensure efficient and accurate robotic operations.
• Design experiments to assess quality, reliability, and performance.
• Execute tests following established protocols and collect data.
• Analyze data to identify improvements and report results.
• Collaborate across teams to implement innovative testing methods.
• Document configurations, code, and procedures to ensure traceability.
• Contribute to standardization of testing protocols and workflows.
• Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
