Cadmatic's Data Management team in Piacenza develops engineering data management software to help customers deliver successful projects. You will work as a Software Engineer on the Projects application, focusing on integrating Cadmatic solutions and enhancing usability.

You will participate in planning, implementation, and review within a Scrum team, collaborating closely with the Product Owner to guide daily tasks.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Several years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• .NET (C#) and SQL proficiency required.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and version control.
• Strong English and Italian communication skills.

Our Data Management team in Piacenza develops engineering data management software that helps our customers deliver successful engineering projects. Now we are looking for a Software Engineer, working on the Cadmatic Projects application with a focus on improving integration between our solutions.

As part of the team, you create new and maintain existing features. You find ways to fulfill user needs, and you strive for efficient technical solutions and good usability. You participate in planning, implementation, and review both independently and as part of the Scrum team. In addition, you work closely with the Product Owner, who guides your everyday tasks.

What helps you succeed in this role:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• A couple of years of experience as a motivated Software Engineer.
• Proficiency in .NET (C#) and SQL.
• Experience with Version Control Systems and RESTful APIs development.
• Experience in process industry and project planning is highly valued.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Italian, both with colleagues and customers worldwide.
• Enthusiasm for collaborating closely with customers and ambition to grow within the role, potentially taking on project management responsibilities.

We are especially glad if you have:

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and the ability to draw ER-diagrams is a plus.
• Experience with Agile/DevOps development and Docker is a nice-to-have.

The salary range for this role: Annual base salary of 40 600 € – 49 000 € plus a variable bonus, with on-target earnings (OTE) of 47 500 € - 57 400 €.

This salary range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this position, and the final offer may vary within the range depending on the work experience and the level of expertise.
