Job summary

RINA is seeking a Software Configuration Management Engineer to join our Digital Product & Platform Engineering team in Turin, Italy. The role focuses on software configuration management, product versioning and lifecycle management using PLM and PDM systems.

You will ensure traceability, document control and coordination with suppliers, customers and Design Authorities; work is predominantly onsite at the client site.

Qualifications

• Experience in configuration management or PLM/PDM.
• Experience with PLM/PDM tools: Serena, Windchill, Matrix, SAP or Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of product configuration management and lifecycle processes.
• Ability to review technical documentation and configuration data.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Fluent Italian and English at B2 or higher.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized.
• Ability to collaborate with suppliers, customers, and Design Authorities.

Responsibilities

• Support CM activities related to product versioning and lifecycle management.
• Manage changes and documentation using PLM/PDM systems.
• Coordinate Configuration Control Boards and minutes.
• Analyze CM Plans and produce supporting documentation.
• Support Design Authorities in managing design changes.
• Manage structures of items in PLM/PDM.
• Participate in Design Reviews (PDR, DDR, CDR, FDR).
