Kuka Systems GMBH Branch Office Paris is seeking an automation software engineer to translate requirements into effective automation software solutions and contribute to system architecture and software design. You will prepare functional specifications and acceptance tests for project-related systems, participate in risk assessments, and keep up to date with technologies in automation and robotics.

Competenze

• Strong experience in automation engineering.
• Approximately 5 years in automation industry.
• Solid PLC programming knowledge (Structured Text).
• Understanding of automation systems architecture and real‑time systems.
• Experience with commissioning and testing of automated control systems.
• Knowledge of motion control systems (servo/stepper).
• Experience designing complex multi-machine systems.
• Proficiency in Beckhoff TwinCAT or CODESYS environments.
• Good knowledge of electromechanical components and systems.
• Ability to create technical documentation and test procedures.
• Good knowledge of English.

Application Requirements

What you need to succeed To be successful in the role we are looking for:

• Strong experience in automation engineering
• Approximately 5 years of experience in the automation industry
• Solid knowledge of PLC programming, preferably with Structured Text
• Strong understanding of automation systems architecture, including real-time systems
• Experience with commissioning and testing of automated control systems
• Knowledge of motion control systems (servo motors, stepper motors)
• Experience in designing complex systems involving multiple machines
• Proficiency in Beckhoff / TwinCAT or CODESYS environments
• Good knowledge of electromechanical components and systems
• Ability to create technical documentation, including functional specifications and test procedures
• Good knowledge of English language
