ALEMA AUTOMATION in Lombardia is seeking an experienced PLC / HMI Programmer with at least 3 years in industrial automation to join our technical team. You will develop, program, test, and commission automation systems at our premises, with travel to customer sites in Italy and abroad when required.

Responsibilities include Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC development, HMI configuration (WinCC, FactoryTalk), and commissioning.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of professional PLC/HMI programming experience.
• Proven experience with Siemens PLCs.
• Proven experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs.
• Strong knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell Studio 5000.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad.

We are looking for an experienced PLC / HMI Programmer with at least 3 years of experience in industrial automation to join our technical team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, programming, testing, and commissioning of industrial automation systems, working mainly at our premises, with availability to travel to customer sites in Italy and abroad when required.

Main Responsibilities

• Development and programming of Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs
• Development and configuration of HMI systems
• PLC programming using Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell Studio 5000 Logix Designer
• HMI development and configuration using WinCC, FactoryTalk View Studio, and FactoryTalk Optix
• Configuration and diagnostics of industrial communication networks
• Software testing and validation on machines and industrial plants
• On-site installation, start-up, and commissioning
• Hardware and software troubleshooting
• Modification, maintenance, and optimization of existing PLC/HMI software
• Technical support during installation and commissioning activities

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in PLC/HMI programming and industrial automation
• Proven experience with Siemens PLCs
• Proven experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs
• Good knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell Studio 5000 Logix Designer
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
• Knowledge of industrial automation architectures and communication networks
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently during software development and commissioning activities
• Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Safety systems
• Knowledge of drives, inverters, and Motion Control systems
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as PROFINET, PROFIBUS, and EtherNet/IP
• Experience with SCADA systems
• Good command of the English language

Workplace & Travel

The position is primarily based at our premises, with business trips to customer facilities for installation, testing, commissioning, and technical support activities.
