Job summary

KPIT in Piemonte, Italy seeks an experienced Software Architect to lead the design of a cloud-native replica of our Cloud System/Web Portal and other enterprise tools. You will set scalable cloud architectures, guide teams across backend, frontend, cloud, and DevOps domains, and drive technical excellence.

Responsibilities include end-to-end architecture, Java/Spring Boot microservices, Angular/React frontend, AWS/Azure cloud, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and security-focused design.

Qualifications

• Experience with SaaS and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership.
• Exposure to automotive diagnostics and OTA architectures.
• Fluent in English and Italian to coordinate international and local teams.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architecture for web platforms and enterprise apps.
• Lead design and development using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Architect scalable frontend solutions with Angular and React.
• Design cloud-native solutions on AWS/Azure.
• Establish CI/CD, containerization, and infra standards with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD.
• Design integration and messaging with Kafka and MQTT.
• Ensure security, performance, scalability, and maintainability of solutions.
• Mentor teams and conduct architecture reviews.
