Amazon seeks a Solutions Architect in Milan to drive technical relationships with SMBs in Italy, guiding cloud adoption and solution design on AWS. You will lead architectural discussions, evangelize best practices, and collaborate with sales to achieve revenue goals.
You will educate customers on cloud value, craft reference architectures, and share knowledge across the AWS community, while ensuring secure, cost-effective, reliable deployments.
As a Solutions Architect at AWS, you’ll build technical relationships with customers of all sizes and operate as their trusted advisor, ensuring they get the most out of the cloud at every stage of their journey. You’ll manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and our customers, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability and operational efficiency to accelerate their challenging projects.
Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features. In this role, your creativity will link technology to tangible solutions, with the opportunity to define or invent cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases. You will participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. whitepapers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate about AWS (e.g. through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences). This role is within the EMEA SMB organization and you would be working with Small-to-Medium Business (SMB) customers in Italy.

The minimum gross base salary for this position is listed below. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full-time basis. For part-time hours, the salary will be pro‑rated.
Amazon reserves the right to offer a higher salary and/or level, depending on the candidate's skills, competencies, and experience. Amazon's package may include a sign on payment. In addition, the candidate may be eligible to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Your recruiting team will share final salary and any restricted stock unit scheme if applicable, depending on skills and requirements.
In addition to statutory benefits, and those applicable to the relevant CBA, company supplementary benefits may apply subject to further terms.
