EssilorLuxottica in Italy is seeking a Process Quality Engineer - Smart Eyewear to ensure quality readiness, reliability and manufacturing excellence from NPI to mass production. You will work at the intersection of Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing to solve complex challenges and bring innovative wearable technology to market.

The role requires an engineering degree, knowledge of quality methods, strong data skills and fluent English; you will monitor KPIs, drive root cause analysis,

Competenze

• Degree in Engineering or Diploma in a technical field.
• Knowledge of quality methodologies and problem-solving tools.
• Understanding of manufacturing, industrialization and continuous improvement processes.
• Good understanding of electronic products and technologies.
• Familiarity with validation testing, electronic troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, BOMs and schematics.
• Strong analytical mindset and cross-functional communication.

Mansioni

• Support the quality readiness of new products through NPI and industrialization phases.
• Monitor production performance, process and quality KPIs; identify risks and improvements.
• Investigate quality issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Contribute to PFMEA, process validation, Control Plan and quality gate reviews.
• Support qualification and industrialization of new technologies and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze quality data and translate insights into recommendations and actions.
• Support testing activities for electronic products and smart modules.
• Help ensure smooth transition from product development to mass production.
