Job summary
Hitachi Energy Italy S.p.A. is seeking a Site Quality professional to plan, organize, lead and monitor all quality work during site execution of HVDC converter stations in Italy and abroad.
This is a site-based role based in Italy, requiring presence on the construction site and collaboration with subcontractors and partners to meet customer expectations. Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction quality site experience or in operations.
- SO9001 knowledge and understanding of quality management systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively, be result oriented, and act with speed and openness.
Responsibilities
- Review contractual and local requirements applicable to site quality and align contractor quality plans with project quality plans and customer requirements.
- Provide Quality Induction training to site personnel.
- Ensure quality control processes are implemented and monitored; supervise inspections, testing during Civil, Mechanical and Electrical erection and commissioning.
- Manage completion system, non-conformance (NCR) and punch list processes at site with the completion manager.
- Monitor contractor compliance with quality requirements and drive corrective actions when needed.
- Provide quality-related site KPIs to stakeholders and participate in site audits as required.
