Hitachi ABB Power Grids is seeking a Quality on-Site Lead for HVDC projects in Italy. The role focuses on planning, organizing and monitoring all quality work during site execution to meet customer expectations, including work by subcontractors and partners.

The position is site-based in Italy and requires presence on the construction site. You will review quality plans, provide site inductions, ensure QC processes, manage NCR/CCR systems and support site audits.

Competenze

Technical/Engineering/Quality management education.
5+ years of construction quality site experience or operations.
Track record in Change Management on large, complex projects.
SO9001 knowledge.
Strong communication, results orientation and speed in execution.
Fluent in English and Italian, written and oral.

Mansioni

Plan, organize and monitor quality work on site to satisfy customer expectations.
Provide Quality Induction training to site personnel.
Ensure QC processes are implemented and inspections are documented and validated.
Oversee completion and NCR/CCR systems and train users.
Manage punch lists, status of inspections/certifications and outstanding works.
Provide site quality KPIs and participate in audits.
