Mark-Taylor is hiring a Service Technician at San Milan in Phoenix, AZ to help keep our communities running smoothly by handling maintenance repairs and supporting make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards.

The role requires knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and pool care, with on-call rotation and an extra $3.00 per hour on-call incentive; EPA, CPO, OSHA certifications earn additional pay. We offer benefits and growth opportunities.

Competenze

• General knowledge in plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, and OSHA standards.
• Knowledge of building systems.
• Service oriented.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience as apartment turn technician, make ready technician, or work order technician is highly desirable.
• A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

Mansioni

• Assist in the completion of make ready units to Mark-Taylor standards.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct minor air conditioning and/or heating failures, appliance repairs, electrical problems, plumbing problems, minor carpentry, and drywall repairs.
• Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
• Perform daily pool care, ensures pool is in proper chemical balance and area is free of safety concerns.
• Complete minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and cut keys
• Inspect the property for safety hazards that may pose a liability and corrects the hazard to inform the Manager of Facilities and Service of the hazard.
• Share on-call duty with Manager of Facilities and Service, and service team members and is readily available to go the property if needed and in uniform/badge.
• Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.

Compensation:

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hour.
• All service team members who participate in the on-call rotation receive an additional $3.00/hour incentive for all hours worked while on-call.
• Additional hourly pay for EPA, CPO, and OSHA certifications***
