Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY ITALY S.P.A. in Monselice (Padova) is seeking a Service Sales Specialist within the Service business unit.

The role combines sales support with technical input for transformer-related products and services, engaging both customers and internal teams in a hybrid, full-time capacity. You will analyze customer needs, contribute to strategy discussions, and coordinate with quotation teams to prepare offers.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred.
• 3+ years of direct sales experience.
• Experience with electric substation equipment; client-facing experience presenting transformer solutions.
• Fluent Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sales team and customers throughout the sales process, while developing new and existing business by increasing internal and external knowledge of products and markets.
• Participate in sales strategy discussions, assign short- and long-term goals, and negotiate Product Group sales budgets and marketing plans.
• Identify customer needs and competitor offers through market analysis, ensuring efficient marketing actions and communications that demonstrate the value proposition of products, systems, service and packages.
• Provide technical support, product presentations, and training related to products/solutions/services to the area Sales organization/customers.
• Take ownership of specific customer cases to ensure efficient issue resolution and analyze root causes of lost proposals to increase future competitiveness.
• Perform sales performance reviews, propose recovery plans for potential order shortfalls, and provide regular sales activity reports to assist in production planning.

Your background:

• Technical background (Engineering degree is preferred)
• More than 3 years of experience in direct sales and sales management.
• Previous experience working with electric substation equipment; client-facing experience presenting transformers solutions is considered a plus.

The minimum salary for this position in the location specified is as follows:
