Wärtsilä is seeking a Field Service Engineer – 4‑Stroke for Genova, Italy. You will perform advanced maintenance, on-site overhauls, and troubleshooting of Wärtsilä OEM engines while ensuring QEHS compliance. The role includes extensive travel and customer-facing duties, with flexible remote work when not in the field.
You will engage in commissioning, testing, and documentation, collaborating with internal teams to support Wärtsilä’s innovative marine and energy solutions.

We are seeking a dynamic Field Service Engineer – 4‑Stroke to join our Mechanical Field Services Resources team to manage complex field service activities related to Wärtsilä 4‑stroke engines and associated systems.
You will work primarily in the field, directly interfacing with customers, performing advanced service activities such as commissioning, troubleshooting, overhauls, and maintenance of Wärtsilä products.
The preferred location for this position is in Genova (Italy). When not on assignment, remote working is possible, supporting flexibility and work‑life balance.
