Technip Energies in Italy seeks a Transport & Installation and Naval Engineer to manage land and sea transportation activities for modular onshore projects, coordinating with Project Lead, procurement, and construction teams.

The role covers SPMT layout, vessel/barge operations, mooring design, load-out, and collaboration with the Marine Warranty Surveyor for offshore interfaces, with a hybrid work model and opportunities for international mobility.

Competenze

• Master degree in Naval Engineering (essential).
• Languages: English Fluent.
• Main Skills and Requirements: problem solving, automation tools development, teamwork in international environment, timely completion, willingness to international mobility.

Mansioni

• Management of discipline team assigned to the Project.
• Reporting to Section Head/Project management.
• Establishing team organization and managing mobilization plan in accordance with budget and Workfront in coordination with the Section Head.
• Management and control of discipline schedule and progress.
• Management of the team to ensure that all members are aware of assigned work and comply with DQHSEP, objectives, and TEN work process.
• Supervises internal/external subcontracted engineering activities as per project execution and surveillance plan.
• Coordination with other project stakeholders (internal and external).
• Performing activities and issuing deliverables in accordance with project schedule, quality, contractual requirements, and execution plan.
• Preparation, checking or/and approval of discipline deliverables.
• Consolidating and ensuring awareness of input and output data for discipline.
• Establishment of project closeout and lessons learned.
• Technical Management of Transport Contractors (including technical part of requisitions, bid analysis and Purchase Orders).
• Review and approval of technical documentation issued by Transport Contractors.
• Coordination with the Marine Warranty Surveyor and interfacing with other parties to ensure the necessary activities related to load-out, barge transport, off-load, installation of modules.
• Definition of SPMT layout for Modules transportation, including stability check of cargo and ground bearing pressure check.
• Design and analysis of mooring systems.
• Definition of Vessel motions and sea accelerations on Modules during sea transportation.
• Stability, stowage plans, ballast management and bollard pull calculations for barges and Modules according to DNV requirements.
• Developing concept and detailed lifting arrangements, SPMT layouts, deck layouts and sea-fastenings;
• Grillage and Sea Fastening Design
