Job summary

Human Technopole in Milan seeks a motivated Technician or Senior Technician to support cancer functional-genomics programmes. You will work with postdocs on CRISPR perturbation projects, drug-response studies, and routine molecular biology tasks.

Ideal candidates hold a life-science degree and hands-on mammalian cell culture experience, with English fluency and familiarity with sequencing workflows. The role is based at HT in Milan, on a fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Degree in molecular biology or related life sciences.
• Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and viability assays.
• Proficiency with DNA/RNA extraction, PCR and western blotting.
• Fluent English; working language in the lab.

Responsibilities

• Support execution and optimisation of experimental workflows in cancer functional genomics.
• Maintain and characterise parental and drug-resistant cancer cell models.
• Assist CRISPR-based perturbation studies and screening workflows.
• Perform drug-response and combination-treatment assays and data recording.
• Collaborate across experimental and computational teams.
