IFOM The FIRC Institute of Molecular Oncology Foundation in Milan, Italy, invites applications for a Post-doctoral Research Scientist to join Leuzzi’s Laboratory to study cancer immunology using CRISPR-based functional genomics.

The successful candidate will design and perform high-throughput screens, generate and analyze data, and contribute to publications, with English as working language and opportunities for international collaboration.

Formación

• Extensive knowledge in DNA repair or CRISPR-based screening approaches.
• Self-motivation and a curiosity-driven mindset.
• Strong publication record, including at least one publication in the last year with the applicant as principal author.
• Great communication skills and strong motivation to work in a collaborative and constructive lab environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design and execute CRISPR knockout and base editing screens to study cancer immunity targets.
• Study DNA damage response (DDR) pathways and their role in tumor-immune interactions.
• Generate, analyze, and interpret data to drive discovery and publications.
• Draft manuscripts and contribute to the preparation of research for publication.
• Collaborate with other laboratories.
• Attend national and international meetings to present findings and stay updated.
