Human Technopole in Milan seeks a Technician or Senior Technician to support cancer functional genomics and experimental biology in the Iorio Lab, focusing on CRISPR perturbation, drug-response studies and mammalian cell culture in a collaborative team.

The appointment is a fixed-term 2-year contract under CCNL Chimico Farmaceutico, with salary up to €43k per year, and opportunities to develop expertise in cancer genomics and perturbational biology.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in a life-sciences discipline relevant to molecular biology.
• Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and cell-viability assays.
• Experience with molecular biology techniques including cloning, extraction, PCR and western blotting.
• Fluency in English, the working language.

Aufgaben

• Maintaining cancer cell models, including drug-resistance lines and quality control.
• Supporting CRISPR-based perturbation studies and screening workflows.
• Performing pharmacological and phenotypic assays and data collection.
• Conducting DNA/RNA extraction, PCR and sample prep for profiling.
• Coordinating with HT facilities and collaborating with other teams.
