ABB is seeking a seasoned service engineer to ensure delivery of the Service portfolio according to ABB standards, providing on-site or remote support and solving complex control logic issues across energy production systems.

The role requires coordinating engineering teams, commissioning expertise, and proficiency in INFI90, Harmony, and S+ Suite, with frequent collaboration with customers and ABB sales teams. Travel within Italy and on-call duties are expected.

Competenze

• At least 5 years’ experience in service activities.
• Experience coordinating engineering teams about design of control logic for energy production systems, DEHC, BMS, boiler, etc.
• Experience with software applications in power markets like Reactive Power Regulation Sart, Primary Frequency Power Regulation.
• Experience commissioning the above applications and control logic.
• Experience using virtualized systems for configuration, operation, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of INFI90, Harmony and S+ Suite for Operation, Engineering and Historian.
• Knowledge of Profibus Master/Slave, OPC, ModBus, etc.
• Understanding cybersecurity regulations for power generation facilities.
• Willingness to travel ~2 weeks per assignment within Italy; some 2–3 day tasks; on-call availability.

• Provide technical support and solve problems in own expertise area via remote or on-site service.
• Determine effective Service applications and methods to develop or market new Service offerings.
• Provide technical consulting on Service solutions to management and customers.
• Identify new sales opportunities; communicate with customer and ABB sales teams for service growth.
