ABB in Italy seeks a Service Engineer to provide technical support remotely or on-site, lead service activities and collaborate with sales teams to grow ABB service offerings.

The role requires 5+ years in service, knowledge of control logic for energy systems, and experience with virtualized systems and ABB automation lines. Travel about two weeks per assignment within Italy; on-call duties are included. Hybrid work with a structured compensation package.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years in service activities.
• Experience coordinating engineering teams on control logic for energy systems.
• Knowledge of power market software such as Sart, Primary Frequency Regulation.
• Minimum 5 years in commissioning of the listed applications and control logic.
• Experience with virtualized systems: configuration, operation, maintenance.

Mansioni

• Provide technical support and problem solving in own expertise via remote or on-site service.
• Identify effective service applications and methods to respond to customer requirements cost-effectively.
• Provide technical consulting on service solutions to management and customers.
• Identify new sales opportunities and collaborate with ABB sales teams to grow service business.
• Travel for assignments in Italy, averaging two weeks, with on-call duties.
