Job summary

Lightsource bp is seeking an experienced Commercial Engineer to support projects across Italy and the EMEA region. You will contribute to early development, pre-construction and construction phases, focusing on PV, BESS and Wind technologies.

You will lead due diligence, design development and EPC appendices, while coordinating with internal teams and external advisers to optimise project performance and financial inputs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in renewable energy with solar PV and wind.
• Experience with Energy Yield Assessments (EYA) and PV/BESS/Wind performance factors.
• Experience with large-scale solar PV, BESS and wind farm projects.
• Masters in Renewable Energy or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical due diligence and coordinate internal/external providers.
• Support project development from early stage through construction.
• Develop basic designs, layouts and SLDs for projects in Italy and across EMEA.
• Lead EPC contract technical appendices and related docs.
• Support PMs during construction, PAC and FAC.
• Coordinate technical advisors locally and internationally.
