Job summary

Green Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our client in Italy. This hands-on role covers corporate HSE management and project-level HSE across development, construction and commissioning of utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects.

The successful candidate will act as the CSP/CSE on Italian projects, ensuring compliance with Legislative Decree 81/2008, coordinating with clients, designers and EPC contractors, and driving safety excellence on site.

Qualifications

• Significant HSE experience across construction, infrastructure, energy or industrial projects.
• Experience supporting large-scale construction projects.
• CSP/CSE qualification compliant with Italian legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the company’s HSE management framework.
• Ensure compliance with Italian HSE legislation and industry best practice.
• Develop and maintain HSE policies, procedures, risk assessments and reporting systems.
• Provide HSE leadership across renewable energy projects from development through to commissioning.
• Monitor EPC contractor and subcontractor HSE compliance.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and safety reviews.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Identify and mitigate critical construction HSE risks.
• Prepare, review and manage PSC documentation.
• Coordinate HSE requirements between clients, designers, EPC contractors and other stakeholders.
• Carry out site inspections and safety coordination during project execution.
