alpitronic Americas LLC in Rencio, Italy is seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of integrated systems incorporating DC fast chargers and battery energy storage systems. The role entails working in a dynamic team on high-tech projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and overseeing system validation.

The ideal candidate has a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and strong experience in system engineering. The position offers opportunities for advancement and a performance-related pay structure.

• Strong experience in the system engineering or architecture of complex energy or power electronics-based systems.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development of integrated systems incorporating DC fast chargers, battery energy storage systems (BESS), transformers and renewable energy sources
• Develop the system architecture, topology, power and energy sizing, modularity, and construction concepts (skid/container)
• Lead the development of power flow logics, load management strategies, and SCADA/monitoring requirements
• Lead the system-level integration of MV transformers, LV distribution, BESS, chargers and renewable energy sources
• Ensure compliance with all applicable standards, grid codes, functional safety and cybersecurity requirements
• Coordinate outsourced engineering activities (e.g. mechanical design)
• Define and oversee system validation and laboratory testing of the integrated systems

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a similar subject
• Strong experience in the system engineering or architecture of complex energy or power electronics-based systems.
• Good knowledge of grid integration, BESS, SCADA/EMS and compliance processes
• Proven experience in technical leadership or people management
• Structured, systems-level thinking and strong communication skills
• Fluent in English, Italian and/or German are a plus
