Baker Hughes is seeking a Sourcing Senior Specialist - Supplier Quality Engineering in Italy. You will serve as the single SQE entry point for plant needs, lead supplier quality efforts, and drive cross-functional initiatives to improve manufacturability and reduce defects.

You will coordinate with plant teams, review nonconformances, and ensure adherence to engineering specs. Fluent English and strong communication are essential; flexibility to work with multiple locations is expected.

Competenze

• Must have a degree in Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Significant experience in supplier quality engineering and lean manufacturing.
• Proven leadership capabilities and experience driving corrective actions.

Mansioni

• Act as the unique entry point SQE for Baker Hughes plant needs.
• Attend plant production/quality meetings and review NCs.
• Early engagement of Commodities SQEs in product quality improvements.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives for manufacturability improvement and cost saving.
• Ensure compliance to engineering and customer specifications across locations.
• Facilitate disposition for SDRs critical to business continuity.
• Coordinate return to vendors for repair or replacement of defective items.
• Support deployment of the Quality Strategy.
