Baker Hughes is seeking a Sourcing Experienced Professional - Commodity Management in Italy. You will contribute to procurement strategy, execute orders with suppliers, and support commodity leadership across engineering, sales and manufacturing to optimize cost, quality and delivery.

The role requires 1–3 years in procurement or related fields. Fluency in English and Italian is essential, with travel to Talamona up to 1 week per month.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Economics.
• 1–3 years of experience in Procurement, Operations or Supply Chain preferred.
• Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken).
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to solve problems and identify solutions.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude toward change and challenges.
• Willingness to live in Talamona (SO) or travel to Talamona for 1 week per month.

Mansioni

• Develop and execute long-term procurement strategies for the assigned commodity.
• Align commodity strategies with product leadership, sales, engineering and manufacturing objectives.
• Lead supplier selection, development and management for New Product Development with cross-functional support.
• Collaborate with Product Leadership, Sales and Engineering on product strategy of the commodity.
• Develop negotiation strategies to achieve supply chain goals for single PO and strategic partnerships.
• Negotiate and issue purchase orders aiming for lowest total cost while balancing quality and schedule.
• Drive procurement initiatives for cost-out programs, deflation and cash-flow improvements.
• Utilize S&OP data to align supplier capacity with business goals.
