ABB E-mobility is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to strengthen the Quality organization and drive supplier excellence across a global supply base. You will proactively manage quality, compliance, and supply chain risks while partnering with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards throughout the product lifecycle.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 7+ years in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or similar roles.
• Experience managing supplier qualification, development, performance, and risk management.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Procurement to build quality into supplier inputs.
• Represent supplier quality in product development, sourcing, and make-or-buy decisions.
• Lead supplier qualification activities, including new supplier approvals and CtX considerations.
• Plan and execute supplier audits per ABB requirements and standards.
• Drive supplier development through targeted improvement plans and assessments.
• Lead APQP activities and manage PPAP deliverables for product launches.
• Use risk-based methods (FMEA, supplier risk rating) to mitigate issues.
• Monitor supplier performance via KPIs and escalation when needed.
• Lead SCARs, root-cause analyses, and 8D problem solving.
