MetaSensing BV, an innovative Italian remote sensing company, is seeking an engineer to perform structural analyses of radar payloads using FEM tools to support design, verification, and environmental qualification in a space-oriented development environment.

You will work on definition, execution, and interpretation of FE analyses for SAR payload structures, coordinate with related engineering fields, and contribute to qualification campaigns across vibration and environmental loads.

Competenze

• Strong knowledge of structural mechanics and finite element methods.
• Proven experience with Finite Element Analyses for structural designs (Femap with Nastran, Ansys, Abaqus, or equivalent).
• Ability to build, validate, and correlate FEM models with test results.
• Experience supporting vibration test campaigns.
• Knowledge of metallic structures and basic understanding of composite materials.
• Familiarity with ECSS environmental loads and qualification principles.

Mansioni

• Definition, execution, and interpretation of Finite Element Analyses of radar payload structures using Finite Element analyses to support design decisions and qualification activities.
• Support environmental qualification campaigns (vibration, shock) with test specifications and post-test correlation.
• Interface with other engineering fields (integration, electronics, thermal) to include SAR antenna requirements at early stages.
• Communicate results with clear and concise presentations, reports and qualification documentation.
