IC Resources seeks a Structural Analysis Engineer to support radar payload structures in a space/aerospace context. The role focuses on finite element analysis, structural performance, and environmental qualification within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Responsibilities include performing FEA of radar payload structures, supporting design decisions, and coordinating with multiple engineering teams to ensure structural requirements are met from early design stages.

Competenze

• Strong knowledge of structural mechanics and finite element methods.
• Experience using FEA tools (Femap with Nastran, ANSYS, Abaqus).
• Experience developing, validating and correlating FEM models with test results.
• Experience supporting vibration and environmental test campaigns.
• Knowledge of metallic structures; basic understanding of composites.
• Experience in space or aerospace programmes.
• Proficient written and spoken English.

Mansioni

• Perform and interpret finite element analyses of radar payload structures (static/dynamic/buckling/fatigue).
• Use results to support design decisions and qualification activities.
• Support environmental qualification campaigns, including vibration testing and post-test correlation.
• Develop, validate and correlate FEM models with test results.
• Collaborate with integration, electronics, thermal and systems teams to address structural requirements early.
• Communicate findings through presentations and qualification reports.
