Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team in Italy (Ravenna area) seeks an experienced Stress Engineer to ensure structural components meet design and performance specs. You will lead stress analyses, validate with testing, and support life-cycle tracking within a dynamic F1 environment.

The role requires strong FEA background, experience with HyperMesh/Abaqus, and collaboration across departments. Travel up to one week per month is expected.

Formación

• Master's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of carbon and metal structures.
• Strong knowledge of theory behind FEA.
• Excellent usage and knowledge of FE pre/post processing (HyperMesh/Optistruct, Abaqus).
• Siemens NX knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of CNC and DMLS processes and material science.
• Travel up to one week per month.

Responsabilidades

• Perform stress analyses (FEA and hand calculations) from design to final part release with traceable Stress Reports.
• Oversee and coordinate the work of other Stress Analysts.
• Support damage/defect investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather input data and enable cross-functional work lifecycle.
• Monitor in-service behaviour, trackside testing, and service life follow-up.
• Create and maintain test procedures for structural validation with R&D Testing.
• Assist in documentation for track support and load definition.
• Provide occasional trackside support during race weekends or tests.
• Develop and improve stress methodology and sizing methods with the team.
