Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect - Lakebase in Milan to partner with Account Executives, design and deliver technical strategies, and drive customer adoption of Lakebase across regional accounts. You will translate field insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering, develop demos and collateral, and lead workshops to scale knowledge.

A strong OLTP/Big Data background with cloud experience is essential.

Competenze

• 6+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives, driving high-level data strategy and product adoption.
• Proven ability to co-plan large territories with Account Executives and operate in a highly coordinated, cross-functional effort across GTM and R&D teams.
• Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators (GSIs) and third-party consulting organisations to drive customer outcomes.
• Proficient in programming, debugging, and problem-solving using SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience building solutions within major public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Broad experience across data engineering, data warehousing, AI/ML, governance, transactional systems, app development, and streaming.

• As a trusted advisor, serve as an expert Solutions Architect and champion, building technical credibility with stakeholders to drive product adoption and vision.
• Enable clients at scale through workshops and developing customer-facing collateral that helps increase technical knowledge and thought leadership.
• Influence product roadmap by translating field-derived, data-driven insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
• Handle the most complex technical challenges in this product line by acting as the tier-3 escalation point for the field, ensuring customer success in mission-critical environments.
