Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect (Lakebase) in Italy to join our global GTM with a focus on early-stage product lines, driving adoption and revenue growth alongside Account Executives. You will design strategies, craft demos and assets, and help customers decide to adopt the Lakebase product line.

The role requires 6+ years in customer-facing roles, strong SQL/Python proficiency, and hands-on cloud experience in AWS, Azure or GCP, with broad data engineering/AI knowledge.

Competenze

• 6+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives and data strategy.
• Proven ability to co-plan large territories with Account Executives in a cross-functional GTM/R&D effort.
• Experience with Global System Integrators or third-party consulting organisations to drive outcomes.
• Proficiency in programming, debugging, and problem-solving using SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience building solutions in major public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Broad experience across data engineering, data warehousing, AI/ML, governance, transactional systems, app development, and streaming.

• Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute high-impact engagement strategies across your territory.
• As a trusted advisor, build technical credibility to drive product adoption and vision.
• Enable clients at scale through workshops and customer-facing collateral to increase knowledge.
• Influence product roadmap by translating field-derived insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
• Handle the most complex technical challenges as the tier-3 escalation point to ensure customer success.
