Oliver James Associates Ltd. is partnering with an international technology company expanding its engineering team. We seek a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design of large-scale distributed systems and drive architecture decisions from concept to production.

The role is remote in Italy with visa/relocation considerations for relocation to Switzerland, and offers opportunities to mentor engineers, shape standards, and advance backend services and observability practices.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Science or related field or extensive equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience designing large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong experience with Golang, C++ or Ruby.
• Strong knowledge of system design, algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with modern backend architectures, APIs and service-oriented systems.
• Strong automated testing experience, including TDD, BDD and integration testing.
• English fluency; Italian is a plus.
