Syneos Health in Italy seeks a Site Contracts Specialist (Level II or Senior) to manage contract processes across studies, including site contracts, budgets, and related documents. You will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely execution and regulatory alignment.

You will mentor junior staff, support site/start-up activities, and help streamline contract workflows within a sponsor-driven environment.

Competenze

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Health, or related field.
• High level of contracts management experience.
• Experience in a contract research organization or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of the clinical development process and contracting parameters.
• Excellent communication and vendor management skills.

Mansioni

• Administers all contract management processes, including coordination with protocol, consent, institution, investigator, vendor, consultant, and customer documents at a project level.
• Lead multi-country projects including negotiating and preparing contracts, budgets, and related documents for participation in industry-sponsored trials.
• Support SSUL to agree on country template contract and budget; produce site-specific contracts from country template.
• Support in negotiating budget and contract with site via Site Contracts Service Centre and SSUL with Sponsor until resolution of issues.
• Perform quality control and arrange execution of CTAs and archival of documents into repositories; capture metadata.
• Review contracts for completeness and accuracy; ensure corrections are documented.
• Support business development and represent site contracts/Site Start-Up at internal or customer meetings.
• Collaborate with Contract Managers on active project management of contract issues and follow up on outstanding issues.
• Assist in generating amended contract/budget documents and streamline contract/proposal processes; introduce ideas to improve workflows.
• Work within forecasted country/site contracting timelines and track milestones in SSU tracking system in real time.
• Collaborate with internal/external legal, finance, and clinical operations to explain legal and budgetary issues.
• Facilitate execution of contracts by company signatories.
• Maintain contract templates and site-specific files and databases.
• Train and mentor less experienced staff on SOPs; update training material.
• Act as liaison between site contracts staff and internal/external customers; provide guidance and prepare correspondence.
• Monitor basic financial aspects of the project and hours/tasks per contract; escalate discrepancies.
• Review and comply with SOPs and WIs; keep timesheet compliance.
