Eutelsat seeks a senior, hands-on System Integration & Test Engineer to lead the definition, build, commissioning and readiness of laboratories supporting IRIS² and next‑generation Eutelsat LEO services. You will translate system architecture and the end-to-end integration strategy into secure, repeatable environments where RF, network, compute and software elements can be integrated progressively.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in satellite/telecom/aerospace with lab ownership and build experience.
• Hands-on RF test experience with spectrum analysers and VNAs.
• Multi-domain integration across RF, IP, compute, software.
• Lab infrastructure knowledge: racks, cooling, grounding, networking.
• EU27 citizenship required; security/access eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Own the lab lifecycle: requirements, layouts, BOMs, procurement, build plans, commissioning, acceptance, transition to operation.
• Design fit-for-purpose facilities: racks, resilient power, cooling, grounding, copper/fibre networking, RF distribution, timing, remote access, security, monitoring, safe working arrangements.
• Build RF test capability: configure/test spectrum analysers, VNAs, generators, meters, oscilloscopes, channel emulators, cabling.
• Create representative environments: integrate terminals, gateways, RAN/5G core functions, IP transport, cloud/control systems.
• Drive end-to-end integration: phased roadmap for early interface/interoperability/testing.
• Integrate vendor deliveries: readiness criteria, evidence reviews, factory/site acceptance, interface verification.
• Lead fault isolation across RF/IP/compute/software; root-cause analysis and closure.
• Control and improve labs: diagrams, assets, calibration, configuration baselines; automate tests.
• Support programme delivery: verification planning, testing, defect triage, risk communication.
