Eutelsat is seeking two engineers to work on the Physical Layer and Air Interface of next-generation satellite systems including EU IRIS2. You will build simulators for user and feeder links, evaluate RF impairments, and establish technical requirements for air interfaces in collaboration with vendors.

The role requires deep knowledge of digital communications, 5G and DVB standards, and hands-on lab experience, with a strong mentoring mindset for senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the physical layer of digital communication systems.
• Experience with lab equipment to troubleshoot communications systems.
• Proficient in C++, Python and scientific computing tools for signal processing.

Responsabilités

• Develop software simulators of user and feeder link physical layers.
• Assess impact of channel impairments and RF performance on system metrics.
• Define air interface requirements and validate vendor solutions.
