Johnson & Johnson Innovation seeks a Sr. Scientist in Spectroscopy and PAT Model Lifecycle Support to join ANVIL within PSMD, MSAT. You will develop and sustain chemometric models for spectroscopic PAT applications, enabling real-time decision making across manufacturing and labs.

The role requires hands-on spectroscopy, multivariate modeling, and data analysis with a focus on GMP environments; collaboration across scientific, technical, quality, and operational teams is essential.

Competenze

• Degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Deep expertise with spectroscopy (NIR, Raman, MIR, UV-Vis, etc.).
• Experience modeling scientific, analytical, process, manufacturing or lab data.
• Statistical fluency: variation, bias, residuals, model performance.
• Programming in Python, MATLAB, or R; willingness to learn Python for chemometrics.
• Strong cross-functional communication in regulated environments.

Mansioni

• Validate and deploy chemometric models in GMP or GMP-adjacent environments.
• Assess model performance using statistics, residuals, bias, and drift.
• Contribute to validation protocols, reports, and lifecycle documentation.
• Troubleshoot deployed models and spectral quality issues.
• Support deployment into operational workflows with multiple partners.
• Document lifecycle activities for traceability and regulatory use.
• Develop best practices for spectroscopic model development and maintenance.
