Job summary

Golden Limousine is seeking a Senior Officer of Safety and Compliance to oversee risk, safety, and regulatory programs across the organization. You will coordinate DOT/FMCSA compliance, develop driver training materials, and ensure accurate filings and records while maintaining our high safety standards.

The role requires strong knowledge of workplace safety programs, regulatory requirements, and the ability to train and lead cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• College Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and ability to work with supervision and management.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures; write reports.
• Proficient with computer software and data entry.
• Experience with hazard assessment, accident investigation, and controls.
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulations and company safety policy terminology.

Responsibilities

• Perform applicant checks (MVR, PSP, background, FMCSA Drug/Alcohol Clearing House).
• Inspect driver qualifications, equipment, and contractor vehicles.
• Maintain DOT rosters and assist with inspections.
• Monitor Hours of Service (HOS) and 150-mile driving/logs; retrain as needed.
• Oversee license and DOT card renewals; update credentialing.
• Maintain driver audit files and post-accident retraining as needed.
• Develop safety training seminars and webinars; lead safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with fleet, mechanics, and drivers on safety programs.
• Investigate accidents with root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
