Job summary

Novartis Italia in Ivrea, Italy is seeking a Senior Production Technician to join the Pilot Plant team. You will oversee sterile radiopharmaceutical manufacturing, ensuring GMP compliance, documentation accuracy, and successful technology transfers to support clinical supply delivery.

You will lead material preparation, participate in validation activities, and provide training on processes and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Technical or scientific education with experience supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
• 5+ years of experience in a Good Manufacturing Practice manufacturing or technical environment.
• Minimum two years of experience manufacturing sterile injectable pharmaceutical products.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic manufacturing, contamination control, and sterile production processes.
• Experience with manufacturing documentation, deviation management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Fluent Italian and good English communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate manufacturing, preparation, and packaging of sterile radiopharmaceutical products to support clinical supply delivery.
• Execute production activities in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead preparation and verification of materials, production kits, and documentation before manufacturing activities.
• Support technology transfer, qualification, and validation activities through operational expertise and process knowledge.
• Deliver training on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, documentation practices, and safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues, supporting investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, compliance, efficiency, and operational performance.
