Piab Group in Veneto seeks a Senior R&D Designer to drive development of advanced custom solutions for customer applications worldwide. You will work with Product Engineering, key customers and the R&D team to translate complex requirements into robust, industrialized designs that strengthen Piab's leadership in automation and vacuum technology.

You will lead high-level design, use Inventor or SolidWorks, and coordinate with PLM for data, revisions and documentation.

Competenze

Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or related field.
9+ years of experience in mechanical and/or mechatronic design in an industrial environment.
Experience with custom/special machinery, automation systems or vacuum technology is a plus.

Mansioni

Support Product Engineers globally by analyzing needs and proposing technical solutions.
Provide direct technical support to key customers for critical applications.
Lead design and development of high-level, complex custom solutions from concept to released design.
Use CAD tools to create 3D models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings with high quality and manufacturability.
Manage product data, revisions and documentation in PLM systems.
Collaborate with R&D on new concepts, prototypes and evaluations.
Prioritize multiple projects ensuring on-time delivery and clear stakeholder communication.
Contribute to continuous improvement of design methods and standards.
