Atlas Copco Group in Padova, Italy, seeks a Design Engineer to support the Engineering team with 2D/3D CAD design, development of drawings, and production documentation. You will collaborate across departments to ensure design feasibility, cost targets, and compliance with regulations.

The role involves active participation from concept through production and requires strong teamwork. The position offers a hybrid working model with a focus on collaboration, a structured onboarding program, and

Competenze

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
• At least 2 years in a manufacturing company.
• At least 2 years in designing, castings and machining.
• Experience with CAD and SolidWorks for manufacturing products.
• Fluent in Italian and good command of English (spoken and written).

Mansioni

• 2D/3D CAD design and development of drawings for all design phases.
• Prepare production release documents (diagrams, data sheets, CE dossier) in compliance with regulations.
• Support component development from design to production and verify manufacturability and cost considerations.
• Ensure product compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Maintain drawings, BOM and related documents.
• Assist in drafting machine use and maintenance manuals and spare parts books.
• Collaborate with T&I and engineering departments and project leaders.
• Support tests and prepare reports comparing results with specifications.
