Munich Re Italy seeks a Senior Property & Engineering Underwriter in Milan to underwrite complex risks, steer portfolios, and build strategic relationships with clients and brokers. You will lead negotiations, manage key accounts, and drive profitable growth while collaborating with the global Munich Re network.

You will contribute to portfolio strategy, market initiatives, and knowledge sharing, mentoring teams and delivering data-driven underwriting solutions in a dynamic international

Competenze

• At least 10 years of underwriting experience in Property and/or Engineering risks.
• Strong technical risk assessment skills and market understanding.
• Proven track record in broker/client relationships and growth.

Mansioni

• Independently underwrite and assess complex Property and Engineering risks.
• Lead negotiations and manage broker/client relationships at senior level.
• Own key client accounts and identify profitable opportunities.
• Oversee contracts/portfolios, monitor exposure and terms implementation.
• Perform portfolio, performance and profitability analyses for steering.
• Represent team at events; mentor and share knowledge.
• Contribute to strategy, planning and market-focused projects.
• Lead or contribute to international working groups and initiatives.
