Munich Re Italy is seeking a Senior Property & Engineering Underwriter to join the Facultative team in Milan. You will underwrite complex risks, manage client and broker relationships, and contribute to portfolio profitability and growth.

You will lead negotiations, steer portfolio performance, and collaborate with a global network to deliver innovative solutions and long-term value for clients and the business.

Competenze

• University degree in Engineering or another relevant scientific discipline.
• At least 10 years of underwriting experience in Property and/or Engineering risks.
• Strong technical expertise in risk assessment and understanding of market dynamics.

Mansioni

• Underwrite and assess complex Property and Engineering risks, including premium calculation and terms/conditions.
• Lead negotiations with clients and brokers as senior technical and commercial counterpart.
• Own key client accounts and identify profitable new business opportunities.
• Monitor exposure, portfolio accumulation and ensure timely implementation of terms.
• Perform portfolio and profitability analyses and contribute to market reporting.
