Zusammenfassung

Trina Solar Co. is seeking an experienced Electrical/Power Engineer to lead end-to-end BESS projects across Europe. You will define objectives, budgets, schedules, and resources while owning the technical scope, from component specification to validation and integration.

You will drive supplier documentation reviews, coordinate FAT/SAT for racks, PCS, PPC, and SCADA, and mentor junior engineers. Travel up to 20–30% across Europe is expected, with remote work possibilities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in renewable energy projects (PV, Wind, Microgrid, or BESS).
• In-depth knowledge of BESS components, PCS, and substation systems.
• Experience with on-site BESS integration, electrical design, protection & control, and SAT procedures.
• Strong understanding of RS485, CANBUS, Modbus TCP/RTU protocols.
• Familiar with international codes and regulations (EU/UK; Australia and USA a plus).
• Knowledge of grid services and BESS applications such as FFR, DC, and other ancillary services.

• Lead development and execution of project plans including objectives, budgets, schedules, resources, and metrics.
• Own the technical scope of BESS projects, including component specification and design validation.
• Drive technical reviews of supplier documentation for compliance with standards.
• Coordinate FAT and SAT for major components (battery racks, PCS, PPC, SCADA).
• Act as technical liaison between internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Supervise design to align with contract obligations and specs.
• Manage commissioning and integration of BESS components into the energy system.
• Prepare documentation for client handover with version-controlled records.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
