A growing renewable energy developer is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead grid connection and technical development for onshore wind and solar PV projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-8+ years of experience in project engineering, strong knowledge of grid connection, and background in renewables. Responsibilities include managing grid connection processes, coordinating technical documentation, and acting as a liaison between development and engineering teams. This is a permanent position based in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.

Competenze

• 5-8+ years' experience as a Project Engineer/Grid Engineer in renewables.
• Strong background in grid connection, electrical scope, and technical development.
• Experience with wind and/or solar PV.

Senior Project Engineer – Grid / Technical (Wind & Solar PV)

Contract: Permanent

A growing renewable energy developer is looking to appoint a Senior Project Engineer with a strong focus on grid connection and technical development for onshore wind and solar PV projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage grid connection processes and interface with DSOs/TSOs
• Coordinate grid studies, applications, and technical documentation
• Support permitting and authorisation from a technical standpoint
• Act as technical interface between development, external engineers, and authorities
• Provide technical input across multiple projects in parallel

Requirements

• 5‑8+ years’ experience as a Project Engineer / Grid Engineer in renewables
• Strong background in grid connection, electrical scope, and technical development
• Experience with wind and/or solar PV
• Background with a developer, IPP, utility, or engineering consultancy
