Job summary

Eurowind Energy is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead EPC development of wind, solar and storage projects in Italy. You will manage internal and external stakeholders, cost/time control, and ensure HSEQ compliance through all phases from FID to commissioning.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, and hand the project over to Asset Management on completion. Travel ~10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or electrical engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience in renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Structured approach to project management, effectively managing risks, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience in project and contract management; understanding of contracts; MS Office proficiency.

• Maintain risk register and issue logs; provide regular management reporting.
• Lead commissioning and energization; ensure handover to Asset Management.

Eurowind Energy is looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage construction of its Italian energy projects within technologies such as wind, solar and battery storage. You'll manage projects from FID to COD and hand overing them to the AM team.

Your Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be overall responsible for the EPC phase of projects.

The role covers responsibilities such as managing internal stream works, external stakeholders (engineering firms, suppliers, contractors, advisors, etc.), cost and time controlling and reporting against budget, and safety & quality monitoring.

Your key responsibilities:

Project Delivery & Execution

• Lead project delivery from FID to COD and hand overing to the AM team
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities

Planning, Scheduling and Controlling

• Develop WBS, master schedule, milestones and look-ahead plans
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions

Cost Control and Commercial Management

• Manage project budget, forecast and cost deviations
• Manage variations, claims and contract compliance

Contractor and Site Management

• Coordinate contractors across civil, electrical and HV works
• Resolve site issues and ensure proper sequencing

Stakeholder and Authority Management

• Interface with authorities, TSOs/DSOs and stakeholders
• Ensure regulatory and permit compliance

HSEQ

• Ensure compliance with HSE and quality requirements

Risk and Reporting

• Maintain risk register and issue logs
• Provide regular reporting to management

Commissioning and Handover

• Lead commissioning and energization
• Ensure successful handover to Asset Management

We are seeking an experienced candidate who has worked several years with the construction in Italy of wind and PV plants. The ideal candidate should possess an engineering background or equivalent technical experience within the industry and possess several of the competencies below:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or electrical engineering. Master’s degree in engineering is a plus.
• 5+ years of project management experience
• Experience in renewable energy or infrastructure projects
• Structured approach to project management, effectively managing risks, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experienced in Project and contract management
• Thorough understanding and implementation of projects in accordance with contracts
• Competence in MS Office
• Self-driven and results-oriented with a strong focus on solution delivery, collaboration, and communication
• Team-player with experience with cross-border collaboration and activities
• Analytical and process-oriented skills
