wpd Construction Italia is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Electrical Engineering (Grid Connection) to lead the development and execution of grid connection infrastructure for renewable energy projects. The role is Bari-based with the option to work from Rome, in a hybrid model.

You will manage grid connection implementations from feasibility through construction and handover, oversee technical negotiations with grid operators, and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable projects (grid connection focus).
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Italian and English both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel for several days at a time.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of grid connections from feasibility to construction and final handover.
• Manage technical negotiations with grid operators, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
• Act as the reference point for electrical infrastructure (substations, cable routes, overhead lines).
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Your mission:

As Senior Project Manager - Electrical Engineering, you will lead the development and execution of grid connection infrastructure for renewable energy projects - playing a key role across the entire project lifecycle.

You will preferably be based in our Bari office, with the option to work from Rome, within a hybrid model.
