thyssenkrupp nucera Italy seeks a seasoned Process Engineer to design, implement and optimize chemical plant processes, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety across hydrogen-related projects.

You will prepare technical documentation, support procurement, assist sales with technical offers, and participate in kick-off meetings for technical aspects, with travel beyond Europe as required.

Competenze

• University degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of specific experience as Process Engineer in chemical industry.
• Good spoken and written knowledge of the English language.
• Availability to travel outside Europe for meetings and commissioning/start‑up activities.
• Proactive, team-oriented attitude and openness to continuous improvement in plant design and electrical machinery engineering.

Mansioni

Aim of the position

Play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and optimization of industrial processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of technical documentation (basic engineering) and follow-up of technical procurement of process equipment and the detail engineering prepared by external suppliers;
• Commissioning and start-up at customer’s plant site;
• Support to the Sales department for discussion of technical aspects of the offer;
• Support to the Project Manager during kick‑off meetings for technical aspects.

Qualifications

• University degree in Chemical Engineering;
• At least 10 years of specific experience as Process Engineer in engineering companies operating in the chemical industry;
• Good spoken and written knowledge of the English language;
• Availability to travel outside Europe for technical meetings and commissioning/start‑up activities;
• Good will, proactivity, ability to work both individually and in teamwork;
• Open mind to continuous improvement and professional growth in plant design and electrical machinery engineering.

Economics

• CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria;
• Annual Gross Salary range 50k-55k euro (paid over 14 monthly installments).
