thyssenkrupp nucera Italy is seeking a seasoned Process Engineer to design, implement, and optimize chemical processes for industrial plants in the European and international markets. The role focuses on basic engineering, procurement follow-up, commissioning at customer sites, and supporting sales and project management with technical input, aiming for safety, efficiency and quality in all projects.

Competenze

• University degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of specific experience as Process Engineer in chemical industry.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Willingness to travel outside Europe for meetings and commissioning.

• Open to continuous improvement in plant design and electrical machinery engineering.

thyssenkrupp nucera Italy is the Italian branch located in Milano, specialized on design and supply of electrochemical plants for the production of green hydrogen as well as chlorine and caustic soda. With more than 20 years experiences the company is offering new-build and service solutions in many regions of the world.

Aim of the position

You will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and optimization of industrial processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.

Main responsibilities and Contents

• Preparation of technical documentation (basic engineering) and follow-up of technical procurement of process equipment and the detail engineering prepared by external suppliers;
• Commissioning and start-up at customer's plant site;
• Support to the Sales department for discussion of technical aspects of the offer;
• Support to the Project Manager during kick-off meeting for technical aspects.

Skills, qualifications and abilities

• University degree in Chemical Engineering;
• at least 10 years of specific experience as Process Engineer in engineering companies operating in the chemical industry;
• Good spoken and written knowledge of the English language;
• Availability to travel out of Europe for technical meetings and commissioning/start-up activities;
• Good will, proactivity, ability to both individual and teamwork;
• Open mind to continuous improvement and professional growth in plant design and electrical machinery engineering.

• Annual Gross Salary range 50k-55k euro (paid over 14 monthly installments)
