thyssenkrupp nucera Italy is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join the Local Procurement Team in Milano. You will buy equipment and materials for projects, ensuring financial success and reliable suppliers within a global network.

Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Quality and Logistics; manage inquiries, negotiate terms, and monitor supplier performance. Fluent English and Italian are required; MS Office and ERP experience (SAP or MS Dynamics) preferred.

Competenze

• Around 8 years of purchasing experience, preferably in engineering procurement.
• Very good written and spoken English and Italian (B2).
• Ability to present complex issues clearly.
• Experience in international environments with global teams.
• Solid knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems like SAP or MS Dynamics.

thyssenkrupp nucera Italy is the Italian branch located in Milano, specialized on design and supply of electrochemical plants for the production of green hydrogen as well as chlorine and caustic soda. With more than 20 years experiences the company is offering new-build and service solutions in many regions of the world.

Aim of the position

Working in the Local Procurement Team to buy several kinds of equipment and materials as per projects requirements in a challenging environment in which to ensure the financial success of projects and select suppliers with a high degree of reliability and cutting-edge technology. Interaction with other subsidiaries to explore emerging markets and update company Vendor List.

Main Responsibilities and Contents

• You consider projects demands and place purchase orders accordingly , ensuring alignment with approved requisitions and project requirements;
• You are responsible for the inquiry process, negotiate pricing, delivery terms, Incoterms, payment terms, commercial terms and conditions within defined authority limits;
• You will be responsible for communicating with the supplier and dealing with contractual disruptions (past dues, reminders, claim discussions, missing documents or documentation);
• You collaborate and coordinate closely with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Service and Logistics to ensure seamless execution;
• You support monitoring of supplier performance, including delivery reliability, responsiveness and commercial behavior;
• You manage call-off Orders and support the further development of company-wide framework agreements.

Skills, qualifications and abilities

• You have around 8 years of professional experience in the area of purchasing, ideally in purchasing equipment and materials for Engineering Companies;
• Due to the international nature of our project and supplier base, you have very good written and spoken English and Italian (at least level B2);
• You have the ability to present complex issues in a simple and understandable way;
• You have proven experience and willingness to work in an international environment and with global teams;
• You have a solid knowledge of the common MS Office applications, as well as experience in working with ERP system like SAP or MS Dynamics.

• Annual Gross Salary range 40k-50k euro (paid over 14 monthly installments)
