Domyn is seeking an ambitious Legal Counsel in Milan to be the company’s key reference for privacy and data protection, guiding the business on data handling as we scale. You’ll act as a trusted advisor across a broad range of legal matters and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth.

The ideal candidate has a law degree, Italian bar admission, 5+ years in law firm or in-house, strong GDPR knowledge, and fluency in English and Italian. Knowledge of Chinese and Arabic is a plus.

Competenze

• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in Italy is required; admission in the United States is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience at a law firm or in-house, including privacy/data protection exposure.
• Solid knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR) and international frameworks.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills.

Mansioni

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of privacy laws and translate requirements into practical guidance for the business.
• Support management of data subject requests and privacy incidents.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on business transactions and issues.
• Collaborate with the external Data Protection Officer.
• Develop and maintain privacy policies, notices, and data governance practices.
• Draft and review contracts and other legal documentation.
• Assist in developing and improving company policies and procedures.
