ams OSRAM is seeking a senior analog IC designer to own design methodologies and lead critical analog developments for broadband optical communication ICs. You will define architectures for transmitter and receiver front-end blocks and mentor engineers.

The role requires deep experience in HF analog design, FinFET/FD-SOI technologies, and advanced CMOS nodes, with a focus on driving reviews and sign-off decisions in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment.

Competenze

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years analog IC design experience.
• Broadband optical communication IC design knowledge including HF amplifiers, TIAs, drivers and front-end requirements.

Your tasks

• Company-wide expert in HF analog circuit design for broadband optical communication ICs, responsible for defining methodologies and leading critical analog developments
• Lead design of high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits

• Lead technical reviews and sign-off decisions
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders

Who we are looking for

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• 15+ years analog IC design experience
• Broadband optical communication IC design knowledge, including HF amplifiers, TIAs, drivers and receiver/transmitter front-end requirements; HF layout knowledge is an advantage
• PLLs, CDRs, ADCs and DACs
• Signal integrity, noise, jitter and parasitic-aware design analysis
• Advanced CMOS node experience, including FinFET and/or FD-SOI, is required
